Interp 1: u pak'ah tzéen cháak ahawle
English: Chaak planted food [in] rulership.

Comments: Frames 1-3 are in the Yucatec completive (V. Bricker 1985). The "-ah" suffix may have been intended in the fourth frame, or this may be an antipassive construction. Note Ch'olan "ahawle" in the fourth glyph block in place of Yucatecan "ahawlil." This occurs throughout the codices (in both Yucatec and Ch'olan clauses), suggesting that it may not have been functioning as an ethnic or linguistic marker.
